On 01/06/2009 we lost B-Man, our charter secretary. B-Man passed away after a long bout with heart disease. He was a true brother and a Vietnam US Navy Veteran. He is gone but not forgotten in our hearts and minds. Rest well my brother, now you can ride again. |

The U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club was
established in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in 1987 and is incorporated in the State of Florida as a
non-profit corporation.
Rochester, NY received its charter in August of 2005 after the charter members prospected for several months with the Long Island, NY charter during 2004 and 2005, and remained attached to the Long Island charter as full patch members in 2005 until Rochester received its own charter from the USMVMC National President and National Sergeant-at-Arms during a chartering ceremony in Rochester. The Rochester, NY Charter of the USMVMC is part of a national organization that strives to provide a motorcycle club for qualified military veterans that offers brotherhood and an opportunity to establish ties with other military veterans who have served in defense of the United States of America. P promote a strong sense of pride in having served in the armed forces of the of the United States of America.
Improve the image of military veterans and motorcyclists to the general public. Support our brothers nationwide and promote activities and functions that lend assistance to local and national veteran events and organizations as a show of respect to those who have served the United States of America to preserve the freedom and liberty we enjoy each day. The USMVMC brotherhood is first and foremost a motorcycle club of veterans based upon love and respect for our fellow patch holders who are our club brothers. To be accepted as a brother is an honor that is achieved by only a select few. It is achieved after completing a journey from prospect to probate to full patch member and only after a probate demonstrates loyalty & respect, integrity & honor, and dedication to our principles which include a US Military Veteran and motorcycling lifestyle. These are our club's and charter's objectives. If you have a 100% U.S. Military Vet attitude with a deep sense of pride for your service and you live and love to ride, then we share the same mindset. Welcome
Home...
to all the Veterans who are returning from their duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Your service and sacrifice is what secures our freedom and your service is what has kept our nation safe since 09/11/01.
As an introduction, The USMVMC is a motorcycle club (MC), not a riding club (RC) , motorcycle association (MA), social organization or a gang. The USMVMC is a Brotherhood of U.S. Military Veterans who live and love to ride. Our Club Colors are made up of a three piece patch with a top rocker (U.S. Military Vets) and bottom rocker that denotes the branch we served in:
The USMVMC Eagle is our center patch, A State and MC cube to the left and right of our center patch identifies the state we are attached to and the MC identifies us as a sanctioned motorcycle club.
We ride and wear our USMVMC colors with pride. What we are is U.S. Military Vets who served in defense of our country in one of the service branches of the U.S. Military and would gladly do so again if required. We live and love to ride as brothers as this is our lifestyle. The U.S. Military Vets MC does not pursue or recruit individuals to join our veteran brotherhood. Plain and simply, someone has to want to be part of our U.S. Military Vets MC Brotherhood and demonstrate it through their actions and initiative. Our club is a continuation of the U.S. Military Brotherhood that all Veterans experienced when we served in any of the branches of the Armed Forces in any era of our military service. To be considered for membership in the U.S. Military Vets Motorcycle Club (USMVMC), Prospective Members (Prospects) must first have a DD Form 214 and have served 181 days or more in an active duty status in the Armed Forces of the United States. (Reserve and National Guard members can count active duty for training and "summer camps" ). Prospective Members (Prospects) must have full rights to veterans benefits and have received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Military or be currently on active duty for a period greater than 181 days, or currently in the National Guard or Reserves.
Other minimum standards and requirements for membership are that all Prospects must have a valid motorcycle operators' license, pay monthly dues, maintain an active participation in the USMVMC according to the standards set forth in our by-laws, and have a 750 cc motorcycle or larger. The process of becoming a Full Patch Member has two phases
"Prospect" and "Probate". The Probate phase is longer and gives the probate the opportunity to learn the proper conduct of a member in a Motorcycle Club (MC). During this probate period the all Full Patch Members have the opportunity to thoroughly evaluate the Probate as an individual they would be proud to address as, and depend upon as a brother. The Probate is assigned to a Full Patch Member (Sponsor), and is under the direct supervision of an experienced Full Patch Member whenever they wear the club "Rockers". If the Probate successfully completes their probate period, The Probate then receives their Patch (USMVMC Eagle Center Patch). At this time The Probate is elevated to Full Patch Member status, and is welcomed as a Brother into the USMVMC. Once achieving full patch status, the Probate will have become a member of the U.S. Military Vets MC that is a continuation of the brotherhood we all experienced when we wore the uniform. If you think that this is where you belong after reviewing what we are about, and you meet the basic criteria and qualifications, then simply contact one of our Full Patch Members, or just send us an email through the contact link on this site and we will reply back to you.
